For me, the kitchen has always been about more than just a recipe — it’s about the feeling of a room when people are genuinely enjoying themselves. My focus is on the in-home dining experience, where I can bring a professional touch to the comfort of a private setting. Living and working on Cape Cod, I find my greatest inspiration in what’s right in front of us: pristine seafood straight from the water and produce gathered from our local farms. There is something incredibly grounding about cooking with ingredients that were in the ground or the ocean just hours before they hit the plate.

My style blends the techniques I love from French and Italian cooking, but I keep the focus on simple, honest flavors. Whether I’m catering a milestone celebration or an intimate private event, the goal is never to be fussy. I want to create a meal that feels like a celebration, where the food serves as the backdrop for a truly joyful, shared experience.

This perspective comes naturally from my other life as a director and screenwriter. In film, you’re always thinking about the audience — how to move them, how to surprise them, how to make them feel something real. I bring that same mindset to every event. Whether I’m framing a shot or plating a meal in your kitchen, it’s all about the craft of storytelling. Ultimately, whether I’m behind a camera or at the stove, my favorite part of the job is simply making people happy.
