My focus is on the in-home dining experience, where I can bring a professional touch to the comfort of a private setting. Living and working on Cape Cod, I find my greatest inspiration in what’s right in front of us: pristine seafood straight from the water and produce gathered from our local farms. There is something incredibly grounding about cooking with ingredients that were in the ground or the ocean just hours before they hit the plate.

Prep, Plate, and Play: The Ultimate Foodie Film Night
Invite the magic of the movies into your kitchen. This isn’t just a catered dinner; it’s a masterclass in both culinary arts and cinema. You and your friends will step up as my sous chefs to recreate the flavors of classic food films — whether it’s the evocative spices of Like Water for Chocolate or the comfort of Fried Green Tomatoes. After the cooking is done, we feast while the credits roll. The evening culminates in a curated talkback with a professional filmmaker; I’ll share industry insights and craft secrets that transform your living room into an exclusive film school salon.
Chef Claude created Dinner & a Movie for NYU’s Food and Nutrition Department, where it received rave reviews. Since then, the program has delighted participants in Kyoto, Japan; Athens, Greece; and San Martino, Italy. During the COVID pandemic, it was also offered online through Maine Media Workshop and College in Rockport.
This relaxed evening of food and film is designed for everyone — singles, couples, families, and groups of friends alike.
